Principle of
Ultrasonic Cleaning
| Powerful
Ultrasonic oscillations of 20 kHz and above frequencies, produced by a
Solid State Generator are converted into mechanical vibrations by PZT type
Transducers. These Transducers are bonded to the bottom or sides of the
Stainless Steel cleaning tanks and cause violent distension and
contraction of the cleaning fluid giving rise to millions of microscopic,
tiny cavities or vaccum bubbles which form and collapse at the same rate.
This phenomenon is called as “Cavitation”. These bubbles occur
throughout the liquid even in hidden recesses and crevices, which liquid
penetrates. It produces intense scrubbing action throughout the liquid and
in turn pulls out the contamination at a dramatic pace. In addition, the
“Cavitation” increases chemical activity of the cleaning agent, making
it more effective, resulting in faster, economical and better cleaning.
